Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was good! We of course ate too much of really good food. Justin and I spent Thanksgiving at his parent's home. It was Jami's first time of having it had her home and she did a great job with everything. The table setting look beautiful and the company was great. I actually didn't take any pictures of anything, but just trust me it was awesome! I love Thanksgiving and am grateful for the opportunity it gives me to think of the many blessings I have.

Baby Shower for Jenny

Jenny's Aunt made this card for all of the tables. It turned out fantastic!!! So Cute!

Cake for Baby Kelsey!!

The set up. . tea party theme. Turned out great thanks to lots of help by Jami and Jenny's aunt!

I just thought this was a cook picture. . :)

Just one of the awesome table displays.

I had the opportunity to throw a baby shower for my sister-in-law who is expecting a baby any day now!! We are so excited. Here are a few pictures from the evenings festivities. .by the way. We had the baby shower a week before Thanksgiving. . I told you I've been neglecting our blog!!

I have designated this month. . .

grateful awareness month. . :) After this weekend I have decided to make another list of things I am grateful for so here we go.

1. I am grateful for my own trials. After attending Time out for Women I realized I have it pretty good and am blessed with the trials that I have.
2. I am thankful to live in America. I know that times are hard, but if I keep working hard things will be okay.
3. I am grateful for the relationships I have with my mother and sisters. They continuously lift me up and help me be a better person.
4. I am grateful for the ability I have to sew. . It is beautiful to be able to create things for others.
5. I am grateful for humor. Again after being at TOFW this past weekend I learned that sometimes humor is what makes a trial easier to bear.

Time Out For Women

This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend Time out for Women with my mom, sisters and sister-in-law, and my mother-in-law and her sister and mother. It was great fun for all. We really enjoyed ourselves. . even our lovely stay at the hotel ;). The messages shared were uplifting and inspiring. Some of the trials some of the speakers have gone through and made it through are huge compared to my trials. I feel they taught me so much about how to make it no matter what.

I am so grateful for my family and for the time I was able to spend with them.

Halloween

Fortunately, this year we were not sick for Halloween and actually had a great day! Here are a few pictures of our pumpkin carving. It took a while to find our pumpkins. . I think we went to two different stores to find them. They were all sold out the day before Halloween. . Can you believe that!

Thankful. .

I know it isn't Thanksgiving yet. . but I was reflecting on the past year and I have so much to be grateful for. Here are a few I thought of:

1. My amazing Husband who has been super supportive.
2. My amazing family who also has been very supportive.
3. Gospel. .I wouldn't be who I am today without it.
4. A car that runs and runs well even though it just broke 195,000 miles, and Justin's truck.
5. Job that pays all the bills.
6. Home-Jami and Joe have put up with us for a little over a year now. .THANK YOU!
7. Laughter. It truly is medicine for the soul :)

ANYWAY, Point is I have a lot to be grateful for.
