Welcome Dallas!
Last pregnancy picture. . .before we left for the hospital.

Dallas with his eyes open.
So, I will keep this post brief and not full of crazy details. On Monday I was very busy. I went shopping, cleaned up the apartment, wrapped our Christmas presents, and finished a couple of projects. Nesting if you want to call it that. I have a hard time sitting still on my day off.Later that night Justin got home after his final and had to finish up a couple of things for his last class so we did not go to bed until shortly after midnight. Well, at about 1:15 my water broke much to our surprise. I think Justin was about to have a heart attack he was so in shock. We called the hospital and due to not having the results of a test I had on the 2nd at my last doctor appointment they wanted us to come in. We arrived at the hospital at 1:45.
I was comfortable and doing fine. At 7ish am they checked me and I was only dilated to a 2. I knew at that point I was in for the long haul. My contractions were starting to get more intense and somewhat uncomfortable. They gave me some pain medication via my IV at around 11am. This helped for about an hour and then my contractions were much worse. I was checked again at this time and was dilated to a 5. Half way there and hurting. . I decided that natural child birth was no longer an option for me. As Justin put it. . . I tapped out at that point. Bring on the epidural!!! I don't remember much for a bit as I was just kind of spacy and content. My contractions we more frequent and closer together, but I was no longer in pain. At least I was able to rest and enjoy the rest of the evening. The next time they checked me I was dilated to a 9. Shortly after that they decided it was time to push. 35 minutes later Dallas Lee entered the world. He weighed 6lbs 11 oz, 17 3/4 inches long, and had a full head of dark thick hair!! He is so sweet and Justin and I are so in love with this little boy!!!

Thanksgiving and beyond!
Justin and I went to my Mom and Dad's house for Thanksgiving this year. It was a lot of fun and there was a lot of good food and laughter shared. Our Black Friday shopping tradition continued. . .however we did not brave the crowds at 4:30 am like we have in the past. We decided 7 am was just fine. :) Anyway, We have so much to be grateful for and it would be difficult to list all of our blessings. But, we do recognize them and feel so fortunate.
We are also anticipating a busy Christmas so we have jumped the gun on decorating. Our apartment is ready for Christmas and we are done with our Christmas shopping. Now we just need to make sure we are ready for Dallas.

November- The Thankful Month
I haven't been doing the daily "I'm thankful for. . . " status updates on facebook, but decided that I should really express my thanks for the many many blessings that Justin and I enjoy.
I'm thankful for Justin. We've been married for going on 4 years and I can't imagine my life without him.
I'm thankful for family. There is no other support system like it.
I'm thankful for our jobs. We have been blessed more thank we realize.
I'm thankful for our little man Dallas. I can't wait to meet him next month.
I'm thankful for the Gospel and all that it includes. It is a major staple in our lives.
I'm thankful for good friends.
I'm thankful for laughter. Life would be so boring without it.
Anyway, I have so much to be thankful for. The list could go on and on. :)

Little kicks. .
Our little one has karate moves already. I had a doctor appointment today and discovered that he has his feet tucked up under my ribs. Lucky me! We've been having fun watching my tummy grow mostly because it means he is getting bigger and we've been able to feel and see his movements. So amazing. Anyway, for the people that have asked. . here is a photo for you to enjoy.

Happy Momma!

Our Beautiful Baby BOY!!
We had our anatomy ultra sound this week and found out that we are having a BOY! We are so excited and feel so blessed that he is healthy and doing well. We are still deciding on a name for him. I guess when he starts moving where I can feel him a little more we'll be able to decide on a name for him. . but who knows. We may need to see him first. :) We are already in love with this little boy. He has captured our hearts. :)

New Home
Well, Justin and I moved last Saturday. We had a lot of help with our move. We really appreciate everyone who helped. It was so nice coming home and having my kitchen mostly unpacked and organized by my Mom and Jami.
We love our place and it is looking more and more like a home. I would post some pictures, but I would like to wait until we finish hanging pictures and such. It has been fun decorating and moving furniture around to get everything where we want it. Hopefully we'll get curtains hung here soon. :)
Anyway, All is well. I am now 13 weeks pregnant and feeling good still. I still have heartburn often, but I am dealing with it okay. We are looking forward to finding out what we are having so we can plan. Can't wait!!!!

Best Gift Ever!
Justin and I are very excited to announce our pregnancy to all of our friends and loved ones. We are due on December 26th; which should make for a very exciting Christmas. We truly feel blessed for this beautiful miracle in our life and we are looking forward to meeting our little one.
I am about 10 weeks along and am feeling really well. I haven't really gotten sick. Thank goodness!
Here is a little clip we got at our last ultrasound appointment. I didn't realize that the baby would be moving so soon.

Happy Easter :)
This year we had the opportunity to spend Easter with Justin's family. It was fun to see everyone. It was fun for all the cousin's because they had a cribbage tournament. It was pretty amusing to see several games going on at one time and to see the friendly cousin rivalry. Pretty sweet stuff. The food was amazing and the company great! More importantly we are grateful for the true meaning of Easter. We are grateful for our Savior and the Atonement. Happy Easter!!

Sorry
So, I haven't really posted much on our blog lately. So, I thought I would do a quick run down of what we have been up to.
* Work
* School
* Church
* Family
That pretty much wraps it up. But really. . . We've been very busy with life in general and have just been working on getting ready to move out. On my days off I have my various projects that I consider a "work in progress". We are happy and having fun.

Something to look forward to. . .
Justin and I have been living with his parents for the last 18 months or so. We are so grateful for them and all that they have done for us. However, we all know that goods things must come to an end. We have found an apartment that just "Feels like Home". It is a two bedroom-two bathroom. That extra bathroom we won't know what to do with!!! The rooms are fairly large and the master bedroom has a WALK IN CLOSET!!!!!! *heehehheee* I am very excited! The kitchen is fairly large and bright with lots of cabinet and counter space. We are working on our applications and hope to be moving shortly after Justin finishes his finals in June!! So two more months and it'll be like Christmas in June!!! I have forgotten what we have in all of our boxes!! Anyway, we are excited for this new chapter in our life!!!

3 years

Justin and I were married three years ago today. It has been fun thinking back to that day and how special it is to the both of us. I am truly grateful for Justin and for the amazing man and husband that he is. We have been through a lot together, whether it was good or bad it only made us stronger and love each other more. I am excited that I get to spend eternity with this incredible person! Here's to Eternity!

Biggest Loser
So I have decided to start working out. .yay me right? It is one of those new years resolutions that usually fail, unless you are a gym junkie; which I am not. (I am aware that it is the middle of February, but my workout plan didn't get decided until now) So here we go. I've sought out one of the "hardest people" to follow. Drumroll please. . . . Jillian Michaels 30 day shred.
Today was my first day working out and let me tell you, I am struggling going up and down stairs at the moment. So needless to say, I think the shredding has begun. Jillian Michaels. .I've decided I could never be on the biggest loser.
I learned a couple of things today while doing my workout. 1. I can't do push ups, 2. weights are sort of fun until I've been using them for a while then I just want to hurl it at the tv and tell Jillian to do 20 more lunges instead of me. 3. I love cardio. I can do jumping jacks, kick butts, and the other fancy stuff no big deal. I love cardio. . did I already say that? Okay, lastly I relearned how rewarding it is to have finished a hard workout. There is something about breaking a sweat and panting that is so fun. I did it. . and can't wait till my next date with 30 minute shred.
In this short workout, I came to the conclusion that I would not enjoy being on the "Biggest Loser" tv show. I think I can handle Jillian's motivational speeches on the video much better than her on the show.
