JOB!!!

I thought I would make a quick announcement! I got the job at the pediatric dental office!!! I will be working a half a day a week so all in all I'll be working about 2 days a month. That may not seem like a lot, but I still got my foot in the door and now have something more consistent!!! YaY!! I will be continuing to look for more work so keep your fingers and toes crossed for me.

The Search Continues. . .

Well, I've had the opportunity to temp in a couple of offices but no luck finding a constant job. I still have not heard back from one of the offices that were hiring a part time hygiene position. I've called a couple of times to check in and they are not returning my calls. . . I think I may have to pass on that opportunity.

I had a working interview at a pediatric dental office last week. However, I am not the only applicant. I checked in earlier this week and they said they still have one more interview left, however the receptionist said that she knows the dentist liked me. This position would be one day a week, but right now I would rather give 100% for them then not have anything. I should be hearing back soon. Pray for me. . :)

I will continue to work hard to find work. I just hope that hard work begins to pay off for me soon.

I will say that I am very grateful for the temp work I have been blessed with. Thanks to those offices I have been able to get my foot in the door and get more experience and confidence in my abilities as a dental hygienist.

Work! Work! Work!

Justin just couldn't resist taking a picture of my first day working as a dental hygienist. . so here you go!

Well, we've been here for a little over 2 weeks now and I still don't have a consistent job. I had a working interview at an office that fell through due to the office slowing down quite a bit making them hesitant to hire anyone right now.

After getting that news Justin and I went to Idaho Falls with some resumes. I ended up getting a temp position out of it. I have worked one day so far. It went really well and I'm glad I am doing what I want to do career wise with my life. I have three more days of work with that office this month. At least I am getting my foot in the door.

I had another interview at an office in Idaho Falls and am waiting to hear back from them. It would be a part time position.

The chaotic mess before the move!

Well, we did it! We moved to Rexburg! It was a pretty big process for Justin and I. We got everything out of our old place last Saturday and stayed with my aunt and uncle for a couple of days (Thanks Deb and Reed! :) ) while we took care of some church responsibilities. However, on Friday night before we moved we spent some time with Kim and Kevin and the kids while they were camping. It was fun to see them and play for a bit instead of packing, cleaning, etc.

Now that the move is said and done I thought I would post some pictures of our moving experience. I have to apologize because I don't have any pictures of the new place yet. .I think when we make it look more like "home" I'll put some up, which will hopefully be soon!

Yesterday I had an interview at a dental office and I got a working interview, which means that I'll go in and work for a day and let them decide how much they like me. Prospects look good. I'm not sure when my working interview will be because I'm waiting on my license. Hopefully, I'll be able to do the working interview next week.

Yaahooo!!!!

The testing phase of my education is finally over! I got the results for my WREB dental hygiene examination and I PASSED!!!!!! I feel very blessed that this is the case. I know that Heavenly Father's hand was in it and I don't know what I would have done without him! I can't wait to be able to work. I have a few more things to do to take care of the license, but I am so close I can almost taste it.

I have to give a shout out to my husband, Justin, he has put up with a very grumpy Summer for the last couple of weeks while I was impatiently waiting for my results and not to mention a stressed Summer during the 18 month program. He has been nothing by kind and loving through all of it. I truly appreciate him and all he does for me. I love him so much!

We are moving to Rexburg on the 26th of May and are so excited. We've been packing a little bit everyday. Our apartment is slowing looking less and less like our place. The weather is starting to get warmer and Justin and I can't wait to go play and enjoy ourselves now that I am done! We've been talking about going to Yellowstone to go camping after we move. We've also figured out what ward we are in. We think it will be interesting to be in a married ward. Considering we've been in a family ward for the last year or so it will be an adventure of sorts. The picture is when we were in Rexburg. It was a beautiful sunset. We can't wait to see many more while we are there!!!

Boards

So boards was an eventful time for me. All I can say is at least it is over and out of my hands. I have to wait for about two weeks to hear how I did. Everyone keeps telling me I did fine. . . and I'm praying that I passed. I am pretty sure any person would not want to go through that process again to avoid the stress and the expense that comes with it.

Justin and I on our trip to Boise took some time to play and relax before boards. We went to a park to go on a walk and ended up taking a few pictures. It was fun and nice to spend time with Justin.

We also went to Rexburg to look for a place to live and pass out some resumes to different dental offices. We ended up finding a place. We are so excited to move. We are planning on moving to Rexburg the last week or so in May or beginning of June. When Justin and I first walked into our place to be to check it out we felt good about it in comparison to some of the other places we looked at. It has a washer and dryer that I am so excited about. They are huge front loaders that are energy efficient. We even will have to buy the special detergent to wash our clothes. Yay for a washer and dryer in the apartment!

Justin and I are going to be sad to leave La Grande. We have had the opportunity to spend quite a bit of time with my Grandparents. Time that I didn't have as a child. I am so grateful for their love and support during our time here in La Grande. We are also very grateful for our other family members here in La Grande who have been so good to us!

It will be scary to enter this new phase of life, but we are so thrilled to be embarking on a new adventure together. I am so thankful for Justin. I know that this move will be so much easier for me simply by having him stand by my side. I love him with all my heart!
